About the event

The Best last appeared online back in 2016, few weeks after which she won the Time Crystal Award at the Leap Second Festival. She seems to be taking a low profile ever since her failed attempt to make a solo show at the SC Gallery in Zagreb in 2017. There have been a few reports of sightings mostly at shows and performances where she wore her signature T-shirt. The Best is a performance artist known for staging nuanced representations of intimate relationships that weave together dance, theatre and personal biographies. She forks traditional methods of Role Play and Real Game Play, to induce states that could potentially be a fiction, or a yet, unlived reality. She works closely with networks of players, everything is unique and unrehearsed. Her work focuses on exploring alternative tools and patterns of behaviour through role play. She uses a wide variety of mediums to explore the process by which identity is created, sustained and replicated. The Best has been screened and exhibited internationally. She is a project - actually she did a project where people were invited to troll in the voice channels of multiplayer love games during live performances. She is a member of a free jazz duo - actually trio, now quartet - no actually it was supposed to be only her.
